Texas Ranger lit the Q signal on Saturday and YHC answered the call. Where is JIU? Dunno. Checked it out 8pm the night before with the M (“Aren’t you supposed to be on vacation?” she said) and scratched together a rough plan. No Strava, no Excel.

Launch, Chipper and Water Wings EC’d and a good, right sized crowd assembled. Started us off with a light mosey and warm ups (yes, Side Straddle Hops).

Thang 1, Get Swole – Mosey to playground equipment for stations. Incline and decline presses, Australian pull-ups of course, and Dips. Yogi demoed Superman push-ups with vigorous grunting that gently echoed through the pre-dawn mist. Thang 2, Zone 5 – Mosey to make shift parking lot oval, pair up, and race two at a time while PAX continue exercises. Winner calls the next exercise. Water Wings called Burpees which went down really well. Three rounds. Thang 3, Cool Down – Mosey to loosen up the legs and back to flag. Some Mary and then finished with the pledge as YHC somehow forgot it at the start. Praise for Yogi’s new job. Prayers for Texas Ranger’s and Yogi’s respective sons. Coffee was enjoyed afterwords along with a great 3rd F discussion between Yogi and YHC. Thanks for the opportunity to lead and become a better man today. MIAGD!!
