The basic plan was to keep moving to keep warm. We moseyed across the street for some warm-ups, then continued on until we found a nice valley between two hills. As Texas Ranger put it this morning, this AO provides a unique geography and opportunity to take advantage of it. We took advantage by sprinting up one hill, moseyed back down, then ran backwards up the other hill. After that we headed back towards the flag, stopping occasionally for some merkins, lunges or squats. Then continued on to a rock pile which was conveniently located next to a Wheel of Pain. We spun the wheel, performed the mandated exercise, ran the pickle, rinsed and repeated. Then we headed back to the flag where HGTV demonstrated the infamous Navy Seal Burpee, and all PAX took the opportunity to put the lesson into practice.
In COT there was some discussion of valuing the time we are given. Even through hardship it’s important to live every moment and not wish our lives away.
Prayers for the families of Astro, Wah Wah, and Quiver as they each deal with medical concerns of someone close to them.
Thank you all for this opportunity to lead. MIAGD
