Perfect turnout of PAX after yesterday’s 1776 workout and no doubt later evening fireworks with families. 8 boot campers and 1 Ocho runner.
Mission, Principles, Pledge. Jog toward Waverley for warmup but apparently Cousin Eddie was in town with a large industrial pumping truck. The $hitter was definitely full. Wow. Changed direction and enter Whole Foods parking lot from other side.
Warm Up and stretching. Standard fare, sets of 20.
Thang 1 – Jog behind office buildings for BLIMPS by islands with the S being a sprint back up the hill and Star Jumps at the top…then loop back around buildings to start point. Repeat. Round 1, 5 reps. Round 2, 10 reps. Round 3, 15 reps.
Thang 2 – Cousin Eddie had moved to another spot so headed to the grassy knoll. Two teams, Yogi and Vegemite vs the world. Merkins, Dips, Irkins. PAX 1 completes the MDIs and then runs the stairs-bridge-stairs-bridge X course while PAX 2, 3, 4 complete the MDIs in order and then run course. Round 1, 5 reps, Round 2, 10 reps, Round 3, 5 reps at speed.
Thang 3 – Mosey back to flag. Mary, 3 exercises, with focus on core. Have a Nice Day at exactly 6:15.
Praise for a great 1776 event and turnout yesterday. Prayers for Life Alert’s M traveling back from Florida. Prayers for Yogi’s Mom who is having eye surgery on the 10th. Prayers for all PAX helping to take care of parents in their later seasons of life.
Thank you boys for a beautiful morning and an opportunity to lead. MIAGD!!!
