No casserole this morning, but a hotdish of delicious EMOMs was on the menu along with what might be a new record for hair-on-your-chest coffee. Started as usual with the pledge, mosey across the street for a set of the usual warmup favorites. The workout today was 5 EMOMs consisting of:
1st set – 15 merkins with squats for the remaining part of the minute. Repeat 5x
2nd set – 20 mtn climbers / bear holds. Repeat 5x
3rd set – 20 American Hammers / V ups. Repeat 5x
4th set – 10 jump squats / lunges Repeat 5x
5th set – 8 burpees / plank. Should have repeated 5x, but think we ended with 4x amidst widespread grumbling
Finished with 20 side straddle hops and an always entertaining Hello Dolly closer.

Pax that thought 8 burpees was too weak were invited to increase to 12 reps. A motion was made to formally increase all Shepherds’ Watch 10 count rests to 12 counts.
