Alas, the workout rain did not come as anticipated. Dampness at best. 10 strong. Workout theme was QUALITY (see below). Found a steepish slope on a woods trail. Ran, mostly, up and down it to keep heart rate hammering while continuing discussion (see below). Each run up/down we focused on one exercise for 3 stations, bunch o reps, while discussion continued (see below). Back to bottom for the next exercise and continued discussion (see below): merkins, J-Lo’s, down-slope Astro-jacks (in memory of @Astro not present), CDD’s, SSH’s, Crabbycakes, and maybe something else. In partner groups during the workout we answered questions about QUALITY IN OUR LIFE. We tried to break the surface, go deeper by answering WHERE’s it missing, WHO’s affected by it, WHAT needs improving, WHY improve it, and finally WHEN will you make this happen. Some short sprints on way back to COT for a circle burp, a recap of QUALITY (see above), some sharing of goals, reminder there are men out there literally asking for more but unsure how to find it, needing a nudge, and asking for help. We must remember to lean in, not turn away from men in need. The wheel of pain stayed dry in truck for another time. Robust coffeteria.
