A slight chill in the air made for the perfect morning to do a little cross-training at JIU. The starlight and the almost full-moon was a plus as well (@Kirkland said that it felt almost romantic).

Pledged our allegiance to the flag before high-tailing it towards the valley-of-death. Peppered in a few rounds of stretches, floor exercises, and warmup drills while we crushed the dreaded hill two times over. Next destination; the playground at the park.

We tried something new today. In the end, we pushed on past the confusion and accomplished what needed to be done. 5 pull-ups (slippery with that morning dew) at the playground (Point-X), ran to Point A where we did 10 merkins before running to Point C where we did 20 LBCs, then 🐻-crawled our way back on that lush grass back to the playground (Point-X); following me? Second round; 5 pull-ups at the playground, ran to Point-B where we did 10 squats, headed down the hill to do LBCs at Point-C and finally 🐻-crawled our way back to the playground again. Rinse and repeated twice each for a total of 4. Visual-aid for the workout in the comments section. 😁 It ended up being a sweet looking figure-8 workout.

Finished with a run through the woods back to the flag where we opened the floor for announcements, prayers, and praises. Praises for @Kirkland’s Dad and his resilience in health. Praises and prayers for @Bubba’s son McGraw. Prayers for the soldiers in Christ who have unspoken spiritual needs (you know we all
