3 ran the cleaver, 3 split off for a stretching focused workout, 10 followed YHC for a trip down memory lane to my first workout 1 year ago. This consisted of a mosey to the Wake Med parking deck, with a stop for a warmup and stretches along the way. Once a the top of the parking deck we proceeded into pain-train BLIMPS with bear crawls rather than the usual burpees for B. Once that was complete there was just enough time for a long mosey back towards the flag, a quick stop for some alligator merkins, and a few rounds of mary to wrap it up.
Leading up to this Q I’ve been reflecting on how F3 has been a part of my life, and I shared a few words at COT. The weight loss and improved health are amazing, but just as incredible is the support I’ve received from the group through all that has happened in my life over the past year. The burdens are truly lighter when shared.
And finally, a changing of the guard took place! Sherpa and Kirkland have taken on the solemn site-Q duties for Point Break. Trickle and Vegemite have left some enormous shoes to fill, but Sherpa’s coffee game was strong right out of the gate.
