11 joined YHC for a 10 round Royal Rumble of a bell workout at Ritter. My last minute callout even brought the Honor of Term Paper to join us.
A quick pickle lap before starting the music and warmups. A handful of typical warmups and it was time to start the Tabata style 10 rounds of 1 minute work with 30 second rest.
Swings, Halos, Deadlifts, Squats, Upright Rows, Swings repeato, Overhead Press, Lunges, Bent Over Rows, Single Leg RDLs. Rest. Pickle. Repeato round 2. Pickle lap before Mary.
To wrap things up we met Mary’s much less welcomed sister Sally. We followed the song cues from Flower by Moby to squat on the up and down, holding the down until next up. It sounds harmless until halfway through and Blue is telling Siri to stop the song. Great way to prep the legs for the day.
