PAX: Yoga Mat, Sherpa, Lite Brite
PAX (not in Slack): None
FNGs: None
COUNT: 3
2 is company, 3 is a crowd and a crowd of 3 showed up in the gloom to go on a 45 min tour around the Walnut Street Park area. YHC was pleasantly surprised to find another group of folk doing their own workout in the park as well. 💪🏼
Mosey on to the pond at the end of the street where we performed our usual mundane warmups (note to self: maybe change it up a little for the next one). Threw in a run around the pond. No site if the painted gator I was told lives in there.
Ran through some innocuous greenway entrances and we found ourselves in the round-about on Seabrook Ave. The main dish was a set of a combo of 7 of Diamonds and BLIMPS. These were performed around the round-about with stops at 3, 12, 9, and 6 ‘o clock. Pressed for time we had to unfortunately cut it short a bit. Good news is that we performed 40 tough burpees during the rotation, no mail-it-ins 📬today.
Mosey for at least a mile, mostly uphill, back to the playground where we finished with a round of SCary stretches.
COT: SCary picnic (5/19), prayers for Henry and family, and more prayers for whatever is quietly heavy in your hearts.
Thanks @yoga mat for the hospitality (☕️ was on point). Mumble-chatter was great too. My maiden visit to MDCH was a memorable one. 💪🏼
MIAGD!!!
