YHC stayed on the SCary side of US1 this morning as I struck an exchange deal with Sherpa to Q Point Break in return for a Q at Dantes Peak in July.
After a near flawless execution of the mission statement and disclaimer, we pledged, then we were off. We moseyed around to the Whole Foods for a standard warmup. I learned that calf stretches are a crowd pleaser/SCary mandate. Happy I checked that box.
We made our way to the courtyard for the first thang. Thang 1 was a variant on 4 corners. At each corner, we added an exercise and 10 more reps while repeating previous exercises. After each corner, we did 20 merkins in the center. 10 jump squats, 20 reverse lunges, 30 Cossack squats, and 40 jump squats.
Thang 2 was the same variant of 4 corners, but at the top lot and new exercises. 10 Makhtar N’Diaye, 20 tricep dips, 30 CDDs, and 40 merkins with 10 WWIs after each corner.
With 5 minutes to kill, we made our way back down the stairs for some quick partner work of giant step ups, bear crawl and lunges. We closed out with some Mary and an attempt at Peak City Have a Nice Day.
It was a privilege to lead a great group this morning. SCary is doing some great things with so much growth and many new faces.
