PAX: Fruit Loop, Hallmark, Bobby Hull, Grisham, Sherpa, Tinkertoy, FLINTstone, Olsen
PAX (not in Slack): None
FNGs: None
COUNT: 8
This one was in support of @Spade who is dutifully working to get power back to those in western NC. Thank you, sir, keep up the good work!
We started by agreeing that we love our country and dove right into the workout. Warmups consisted of SSHs and light leg stretches, sloseyed over to a seldomly-frequented neighborhood cul-de-sac for Imperial Walkers, more SSHs, SCary stretches, and couldn’t wait to get to the pigeon.
Moseyed back to the park for Thang 1: 4 corners around the sheep x 2 laps:
• Al Gores
• LBCs
• Monkey Humpers (we learned there are other names for this one)
• Homer to Marges
Thang 2: 20 squats, run the pickle, rinse and repeat till we get to 80, and then 100. Counting is hard!
Thang 3:
• Step Ups on the shelter picnic tables
• Lunge walk around circle
Thang 4: 7-11s. We already established how hard it is to count so instead of doing 7s or 11s, we just did 7 and then 11 every time. Perform 7 of the first exercise at the bottom of the hill, run to the top of the hill to perform 11 of the 2nd exercise, and then run back to the bottom of the hill.
• 7 WW2s
• 11 Jump squats
Rinse and repeat until moseying back to the flag at 06:30. HAND!
Verse of the Day:
Proverbs 19:21 – Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.
We should strive to utilize our time, talents, and treasures in the way we deem best, but friendly reminder to hold those plans loosely. We are each uniquely created on purpose and for a purpose, to do good works that God has prepared in advance for us to do. So we should look for those opportunities and be willing to check and adjust our plans that will ultimately end up for our good and His glory.
