What a great way to start the weekend. Today’s workout started with the Pledge and off we went. Moseyed to the boat ramp for warm ups and they headed down Lochmere Drive. We stopped a few times for dips, irkins and monkey humpers on the long way to the spillway hill.
Thang 1: 11s on the spillway hill. Rock Thrusters at the bottom ( 10 to 1) and Star Jumps at the top (1 to 10). The hill was dry yet wet so we did get feet wet, but I heard no complaints b/c everyone was enjoying themselves. Since we didn’t have enough fun with rocks on Thang 1, we incorporated rocks into Thang 2 which consisted of curls for gurls, OH tricep extension and standard rock press (on back). As a group we did 10 to 15 reps of each (YCH’s counting was a bit sporadic this morning) and ran the pickle around the island. We got in two rounds of that and then headed back.
We returned the rocks to the rock pile (except Kitty…pretty sure he missed the pile), bear crawled up the hill and moseyed back to the flag. We had a few minutes to kill so we did some monkey humpers, planks, chill-cuts and wrappped up with a few merkins.
