I should probably write a backblast, shouldn’t I! Not last yet anyways…
4 gathered for some level of EC this AM… Chip for multiple miles, YM&LB for 1, me for Merkin Madness. I completed [redacted]. I may or may not have completed dodged the auditors for this EC.
7 at the flag for a jaunt through the park and out toward Raleigh. We followed Nottingham to the end, doing pearls of squats and merkins on the way. We paused for Lawnmower Lungewalk at Karen Ct (IYKYK). Ended up in the Kabuki parking lot for
THE THANG
Run a loop, stopping for Hibachi Highknees at one end, and 10 merkins on the other end. Repeato till we leave.
More merkins and squats back up Buck Jones. Stop at [Gypsy’s] Shiny Diner for BTTW and more merkins. Stop at REI for dips/stepups… and more merkins. A few more pearls on the way back, and wrap up at the flag to hit our [redacted] merkins for the day.
Prayers for our kids in new environments and for sanity amongst the noise.

Many learnings about the Cary Forefathers. Buck Jones, Koka Booth, the Fenton family, and of course the Cary family. Shoutout the Yrac fire district. Forever grateful to Koka though for his work in completing the Cary Parkway as we know it.
When Sanka reminded me that I had the Q today, I pondered why I had scooped it. I had fully settled on a ‘it’s for the sticker’ conclusion, but only realized that I grabbed this because it’s Mardi Gras. What a missed theme opportunity, ESPECIALLY since we ran by Bakers Dozen when it was open.
Such a cool opportunity to venture into Raleigh. We’re going to Grace next time!!
Coffee and site fully on point, thank you Yoga Mat for your leadership.
