Today’s workout was co-authored by Chipotle’s delicious but spicy barbacoa. YHC had plans to cross the greenway but kept things safely close to Regency with Blimps and parking lot work. A small but dedicated group showed up for a no run workout. We had to find other interesting means of locomotion so we switched between bear crawls, lunge walks, and crab walks as we performed sets of merkins, LBC’s, and side-plank-star-crunches. At this point everyone wished we were running instead.
We then grabbed some rocks and did some EMOM with rows, curls, presses, and extensions. A nice walk back to the flag and we were finished.
0.86 well earned miles this morning.
And it was an honor to have Tinkertoy join us for coffee! MIAGD!

Another day at 88mph, another Q stuck in a time warp. YHC did the site Q back pocket, make it up as you go deal. We moseyed to the other Waverly lot to check for a Ram and then to warmup. Four corners in the top lot, 11’s by the doctor’s office. Brief Mary at the flag and HAND!

We squatted, pressed, cheese grated, LBC’d, pickled and great mumble chatter this morning. Main thang was Dora’s painful cousin Debra the Brat.

Put away our stick with 5 minutes to finish and boy did we finish strong.

Last night YHC dm’d Sbarro letting him know I had an itch to Q if for any reason he didn’t. He was gracious enough to just let me have it so we decided it would be fun if he started the warm up and just tossed me the keys

So that’s what happened! Pax were stunned, shocked, speechless, mindblown (probably) but they played it cool like they were confused or didn’t really care haha!!

Lots of pickles and partner work this morning. Each Thang involved partner work.

We ran pickles in opposite directions as our partners and did partner exercises when we passed by each other:

Pickle 1: 5 Monkey Humpers and then increasing Patty Cake Merkins each time you reached your partner
Pickle 2: Weave the pickles with 5 pickle pounders and then 5 Toddler Squats each time you reached your patner.
Pickle 3: 5 Squat jumps and then 3 Bropees each time.

Back near the flag for a down and back of Duck Walking and Broad Jump Burping.

“In true Swwinger fashion,” this SWW site Q went “next door to spice things up.” And came with a spicy playlist to fit the bill.

The sets and reps were meant to align with the 15 points the Giants scored last night. They kicked 5 field goals, so the significant numbers of the day were 3, 5, and 15.

After some warmups, the main Thang involved working through supersets of 15 reps of each exercise for 3 sets per superset. There were 5 rounds and we ran a pickle after each round. 3 different pickle routes were run, since a true Swwinger needs to go out and get little samples all around.

Round 1 = 3 sets of 15 goblet squats + 15 American Hammers
Round 2 = 3 sets of 15 chest press + 15 WWII’s
Round 3 = 3 sets of 15 arm raises + 15 V-ups
Round 4 = 3 sets of 15 swings + 15 LSF
Round 5 = 3 sets of squat jumps + wood chops (descending reps)

Finished with some more kettlebell swings. Had a good time today. Got a few laughs from the playlist. Gonna be sore tomorrow. Thanks for having me today fellas. MIAGD.

Four Corners of Mary to start us off:

Thang 2: Tic-Tac-Toe 3 in a row team battle.
1’s vs. 2’s.
One end of the lot had our board and the only way to pass off your chalk to your teammate was to knock out merkins, squats, LBCs X 5/each. (Person must also draw the line through)
X’s vs. O’s. Losers gets burpees, winners get merkins. 2 exhilarating games played with questionable tactics. Then team Indian runs back to the flag battling each other with the classic , , . A lot of people losing on paper.

Prayers and praises. Safety for people stuck in flood zones around the state and weather. Safe travels to our guy, Joe Smith, as he goes to smuggle hardware into Prague.
