3 SCary bros were part of a dozen or so runners out for day 1 of the Maynard 100. Promo left us in the dust and crushed his first Maynard.

Highly recommend getting out there for a least one or more Maynard’s between now and next Wednesday. Great way to gauge your fitness level heading into run season.

The YHC Astro took to the Camp Sea Gull course for a solid 5k. Riptide was nowhere to be seen. Adjacent was being a good dad and riding a bike with his 2.1.

Only a 17 second per mile improvement on last year’s 5k…but will get another shot next week to improve more!

6 true HIMS ventured to Chapel Hill for 75 miles of trails in the Triangle at the Tobacco Road Relay.

Sherpa said the humidity was 100% humidity, the Super constantly said he was going to CRUSH it, Dowry powered like a horse, YHC made us stop for BBQ, Saban complained we were all running slower than 5:00/mile, and Suck Up gave us the most memorable leg 3 known as “Suck Up’s Fuck Up” (see Strava for details).

I hear there was another F3 SCary team, but it’s possible Mohawk ran all 12 legs while the rest just rode in the van and ate gels and snacks.

Great job KILLING it today boys. Can’t wait for the next one.
