A bunch of PAX got together to get yelled at while working out while looking at Yogi’s hole in his pants. Some others decided to skip the fun, and run instead, including a surprise Ocho from @Doula. For those that ran, you missed an opportunity of a lifetime. Who knew that Yogi was also a runner, and we ran a little over a mile around Waverly and around to the parking deck in the medical building across from Whole Foods. It was there that Yogi broke out a deck of cards, and assigned Squats, Diamond Merkins, LBC’s and of course Burpees to each suit. Half of the deck was on one side of the parking garage, and the other half was on the other side. We then ran after each work out, which included a lot of motivation from Yogi to go faster, slow down, run sideways, try to be last, try to be first, etc. By the end of the workout, we were so confused, we didn’t know which way to go. We got back to the flag just in time for Yogi to yell at the runners to hurry up! MIAGD and make sure not to miss the next Yogi Q.

Great morning for the launch of Mojo Dojo Casa House! 3 Mall Walkers and 7 Campers found their way around Walnut Street Park. As @Chipper regaled us with tales from camp “march or die” we wandered around the park moving from pain train, to Dora, to lunge walk lane, to moving jack Webb’s. Ever the teacher, @termpaper offered commentary as we moved through the workout. The launch was celebrated with trunk coffee and doughnuts.

The Q sheet is now live and DiscoDuck told me if a Carpex guy has the Q, I don’t have to pay that weeks rent to use the AO.

We honored the dearly departed (to start another AO in Carpex) Yoga Mat on this brisk morning.

Standard warm-ups in the Animal Care lot and then we took off for Thang 1. Pearls on a string around the famous 1.78 mile EC fun run loop. Stopping at various intersections for a variation of monkey humpers, squats, merkins, and hillbillies.

Thang 2 was at the MD back lot where we found a non-small rock (except for Kirkland) and then, again to honor Yoga Mat, found our own parking spot with that rock and did some exercises. Ran a couple pickles. More rock exercises. More pickles in reverse. More rock exercises. Then back to the flag for Popcorn Mary…the highlight of which was Dumas’ melodic counting of LSFs.

We named and welcomed FNG ELEVATION who is a medical device engineer and leads worship at Vintage West. Standard announcements were glossed over…then more thoroughly explained for Elevation’s benefit.

Keep those six packs alive for free beer. MIAGD, gents!

Warm up with brief mosey then SSH, seal claps, overhead claps, Michael Phelps, runner stretch and calf stretch.

Main event consisted of 3 rounds of sprints, 4 kettle bell exercises (upper body) and and burpees. Round 2 was lower body and round 3 focused on core.

19 gathered at the most problematic boot camp AO in SCary in 2024. Skinny Fat was visiting from Charleston. I had dropped a subtle clue on the workout but was confident that no pax knew the plan. We headed towards the infamous valley hood for some warmup in the Epic cul-de-sac. Typical SCary motions with an added Australian variant to throw the pax off and warm up those back muscles for the ME.

Mosey all the way back down to the playground with some confusion in the mumblechatter. Circle up and let’s Murph. 100 pull ups, 200 pushups, 300 squats Dora style with a partner. Round up the sheep for the pickle lap. Each pax should hit 4 laps.

With a few extra minutes we lunge walked/bear crawled the parking lot. Mosey back to the flag for Mary. Wait here comes the six? Sorry for the confusion and extra unintentional lap you ran Recycle!

Pax called Mary round robin. HGTV added a pax favorite burpee call that broke the mumblechatter up again. Have a nice day!

High tempo was requested, high tempo was delivered. Pledge while Joe Smith gets his act together, and we are off. Quick and non-efficient warm ups for the group consisting of “stretch on your own”, in cadence of course. Dang these guys are hard to please.

Time to run . Partner loops in the cottages, 2nd place penalty was burpees. Then reverse.

Mosey to the high fluting renaissance of SCary, for quick game is catch me if u can. Pax were too busy rubbernecking and missed a turn. Penalty merkins were administered (leadership takes effort and intent).

Finally, we moseyed to the Garmin building for a near miss from a disgruntled Garmin employee. 2 of 7’s, with various counts of calisthenics.

Indian back to flag, with 15 seconds to spare. 4.5m covered. Great job today fellas. Honor to lead.

12 men ventured out for various distances for the Sunday Slowzy.  12 started and 11 finished… 1 pulled up lame and had to be driven home (Thanks Web MD).
