Fellowship is the 2nd F of F3. It’s what we call “the glue” that holds us together.
As such, here are some ways in which we build Fellowship within F3 South Cary:
Coffeeteria
At the end of each workout, we hang out and have coffee for a while. Sometimes it’s simply in the parking lot where the workout just happened (in which case there’s a designated person who brings coffee for the group), or other times we’ll go to a local coffee shop. It’s called “Coffeeteria”, and it’s a great way to unwind and experience some fellowship after a workout while the rest of the world is still just waking up. Some of our regular spots include New York Bagel Deli, Chanticleer, and Panera.

HDHH (Hump Day Happy Hour)
Wednesday is “Hump Day” and we make it a point to use it as an excuse for some fellowship. Generally on a monthly basis, we’ll hold a “Hump Day Happy Hour” to get together over some drinks on a Wednesday evening. Don’t drink alcohol? No problem–have a non-alcohol beer, or even some water. There’s no judgement here, and you won’t be the only one. The Fellowship is the important part…not what’s in your glass.

2ndF Lunches
Often held on the 2nd Friday of each month (“2nd F”), we’ll get a group together to go out for lunch. Of course, we sometimes will go out for lunches on other days as well!

Annual F3 South Cary Picnic
Every Spring, we hold our Annual Picnic where members of our region and their families gather together for food, games, and more. Everyone brings a dish to share, and there’ are usually pork BBQ competition between a few of the guys.

Annual Holiday Party
In December of each year, we get together as a group, along with our significant others, to have some fun, celebrate the year, give out awards, and have some good food.

F3 Dads Camping Trips
At least once per year, F3 South Cary and/or one of our neighboring regions hold a camping trip for F3 Dads and their kids (aka “2.0’s”). It’s a great bonding experience for kids and dads, and a great way for kids to meet other kids around their same age.

Fellowship is What You Make It
Golf outings, ski trips, mountain biking….just about whatever your interests are, there are always a few guys to come along with you.
