Another strong showing at Accelerator this morning. Yuge turnout, actually. People are saying it was the best ever. Today’s discussion was all about finding balance and being intentional with our time, especially when it comes to the ever-elusive work-life balance. A key takeaway was a fully self-driving Cybertruck is probably the best way to create a better balance. Thanks Kiffin! Great conversation, fellas, make it a great day.

Yogi was the Q and led the charge with 52 Card Pickup! Each PAX pulled a card in rotating fashion. Diamonds resulted in diamond merkins, clubs required squats, hearts were burpees and spades were WWII’s. Within each suit ace = 15 reps, kings = 13 reps, queen = 12 reps, jack = 11, 10 = 10, 9 =9 and so on. Let’s not forget the Joker = 10 of any choice exercise. The deck was split in half with one stack uphill and the other down hill with an 80 yard hustle in between. All PAX pulled cards.

At the end of the workout Yogi offered words of wisdom encouraging all not to hold it in and to lean on your brothers in arms, church family and others during hard times.

What a glorious morning to lead the the PAX.the weather was fantastic and the fellowship was even better. We started out with 2 laps around the church and quickly circled up for some SSH’s and good mornings. Next up 11’s in the parking lot (Merkins on one side Boat Canoes on the other). From there we headed over to Mookies Pickle and did 11 merkin/boat canoes at 3 corners and 12 of each at the final corner With about 10 minutes left we took the long way back to flag and proceeded to plank hold while random pax jumped rope.

3 + miles was achieved and we hit 100 merkins & boat canoes.

We had multiple ruckers and a big turnout of folks for the EC.

Grateful to lead the pax and prayers for Petey, My M for a speedy recovery from her surgery and safe travels for Sparky as he heads back to Wisconsin.

Well we had a great gathering @stonecutters this morning including a first time appearance from @WebMD. We started with our typical warm up of side straddle hops, jump squats and S. Cary stretches. During the stretches I asked everyone to think about the following. Just how we plan projects with the END in mind first, what we want the end result to look like or features we want it to have, think about how you want people close in your life to speak of you at the end, as a eulogy.
We grabbed some river rock coupons and proceeded to walk while we did some arm circles, Seal Claps, punch waking, and nut crackers.
Off to the next lot we partnered up with some sevens at each end of burpies, V-Ups, and partner merkins in the middle. After some singing and karaoke shuffle to the blocks we worked out the arms with several curls, presses, and rows.
Over to the picnic tables with step ups, snow angels, heals to heaven, and lower back stretching. Then some balls to the wall before finishing with some final stretching and discussions. We can all think about our walk with God while we are here and how we want to be remembered by our loved ones.

Was there ever a doubt? Good crowd today as Pinto led us up and down the many stairwells of Waverly.

1 site Q was in attendance. He must have been enticed by the preblast.

Renaming of Chipper’s 2.0 at COT. He will from this day forward be known as Lithium.

Strong work and great fellowship this morning. Pinto took us out with some powerful thoughts. Men need to be around other men, and if you are struggling with anything, talk to the men around you.

Expecting big numbers next week with a Peak City invasion of JRI.

What’s Up Scary!

A very pleasant morning it was over in the land of up lighted $2M+ houses, pineapples and doggy treat vending machines (WTF).

21 gathered for the ME and I was thrilled with the group of men who decided to join me at JIU this am. A solid group of guys I wish I saw more often (gotta get over to Scary more often).

Started with a 1 mike pre run with Amway, Astro, Chipper, Kitty Litter and Home Grown. EHarmony was out on a ruck.

Standard Warm Up.

Mosey to the Big House Neighborhood for Mr T. We found some hills along with our inside voice (even Yogi and me) and worked the T along with a POS.

We all (we almost all) did 5 burpees every time the words What’s Up were said. I think we did about 40 extras.

Back to the park for a flawless Motivator.

Wrapped up with a set of 140s. Joe Smiff was confused. I really miss both Joe’s and JP’s voices. Smooth.

The bootcamp was a lot of running in circles and sometimes carrying coupons. Team 2 beat Team 1 with 28 laps compared to like 7 or 8…but I trust their score was accurate.

OK enough about the workout. The best part was after we took off from the flag. As we circled the lot @Term Paper looks to the paviliion and sees a group of guys and says, “Oh look there’s some guys, wow they are even doing the pledge…..and have a flag!” That’s when pax politely filled him in that that was SWWINGERS! Bhahaha!!

It was a great morning – well the company was, the humidity was NOT. Make it a great weekend!!

YHC is grateful for the opportunity to lead this fine group of HIM on his 4 year F3 anniversary. The beatdown itself was a standard IC Light beatdown (11s on the hill and 4 corners with legs and core primary focus), but this one meant more to YHC for some reason. The workouts are a great opportunity to improve one’s self and an opportunity to encourage PAX around you, but the bond and friendships that form as a result are life changing. YHC had that on his mind the entire workout. You all are loved and appreciated more than you know. Keep up the good work SCary!

Continued prayers for Petey and Yogi and a new prayer request for YHC’s best friend Chris who was diagnosed last week with prostate cancer.

It was beautiful morning at Lake Lochmere. We had runners, ruckers and boot campers. Yogi gladly took the Q. We moseyed down to the lake and in a rotating fashion Yogi cranked out Thang 1: merkins, dips, burpees, carolina dry docks, WWII’s, LBC’s mixed in with sprints midway down on the red rail and back. Thang 2: we worked at grass dam and moseyed down the path behind the dam and around the disc golf course. We hustled back to the flag and finished with some Mary.
