Another beautiful morning working out with some Georgia f3 bros. Did some running, some bear crals, burpees, picked things up and put them down, and even enjoyed some parking lot coffee (was questioning this since the day before did not provide any coffee)!

Always enjoyable to meet new people and there always seems to be someone with ties back to our area (one guy from Apex).

Hit a fun downrange AO this morning @F3Alpha in Alpharetta, GA. A little mosey with warmups led us to the baseball fields (astroturf because Alpharetta has more money than Cary). 4 corners was called with a 5,10,15,20 build up. Add one excercise at each corner after a lap around the full field. Exercises were burpees, reverse lunge, heels to heaven, and squats. After completing, we reversed 20,15,10,5. Ran up the hill to find some heavy coupons for curls, overhead press, and rows followed by an overhead Cary around the parking lot. Rinse and repeat. Finish up with a sprint back to the flag. No coffee so that was pretty disappointing! Will venture out again tomorrow. Heard something about mimosas and fishing to follow tomorrow’s workout.

One for a voyage across a multitude of borders to visit our friends in Green Level. Beaker led mashup of Winterfell and Measure Twice. Laps around the pond with merkins after each loop. Solid dose of Measure Twice stretching/mobility at the end.

Highland Games sales pitch was effectively delivered at COT.

Overflow shared a prayer request for a family where the Dad and son were on the way to a soccer game/tournament and were involved in a wreck and the son passed. Humbling reminder of how uncertain each day is.

Visiting pax Burt shared prayers for a fellow pax from F3 Washington, Elmer Fudd, who’s heading back to rehab for a third time.

Grateful to join F3 Cleveland Fairview for an epic beatdown as well as a F3 history lesson. I was lucky enough to attend what I was told was the 1st F3 AO north of the Mason- Dixon, as well as the newest AO in Cleveland. Great hospitality. @flintstone, I am happy to report that the motivator is alive and well up here. Bear crawls and bleachers were also on the menu. Tons of fun and ready for a day of basketball. MIAGD!

2 Scary HIMs (Noah is my dad) joined the Cleveland Rocky River crew for a beatdown in the March cold The PAX swung sledgehammers, flipped tractor tires, ran up and down the bleachers and moved coupons around (painted almost as well as HG’s). Even found another Sparty. Fantastic hospitality and fellowship. MIAGD!

4 Duke Energy (1 more FNG!) and 3 F3 Raleigh PAX posted at the General Assembly this morning in downtown Raleigh. 1 Raleigh PAX had to bail mid-workout for a “dentist” appointment.
It was Merkin Madness this morning starting with a round of 64 merkins (and other exercises) and advanced all the way to the Final Four before finishing with a round of Mary. Lots of running!
Apparently, F3 Raleigh doesn’t regularly do backblasts so I can’t post it in the comments this time.

YHC attended the World’s Worst Mile at/near FMJ. It sucked. I was pleased to come in first place in the South Cary segment (attendee/finisher 1 of 1 in that group). But it still sucked.

I was roughly 50 degrees so I came out of hibernation and posted in downtown Raleigh at the General Assembly AO. It’s near our office so 3 other co-workers came with me (2 FNGs). We joined up with 7 F3Raleigh guys. Yoda’s backblast is in the comments. It was a good workout with gracious hosts!

@kirkland and I sojourn into Carpex to try on the Next Level AO for size. The fit is great. Focus on weights, form, and stretching. This was the soft launch and I expect they will tweak a few things but there are some great bones here.
