3 SCary bros were part of a dozen or so runners out for day 1 of the Maynard 100. Promo left us in the dust and crushed his first Maynard.

Highly recommend getting out there for a least one or more Maynard’s between now and next Wednesday. Great way to gauge your fitness level heading into run season.

The YHC Astro took to the Camp Sea Gull course for a solid 5k. Riptide was nowhere to be seen. Adjacent was being a good dad and riding a bike with his 2.1.

Only a 17 second per mile improvement on last year’s 5k…but will get another shot next week to improve more!

Went downrange to Next Level AO in Carpex. 6 for the workout and 1 for coffee. Great group of guys and a good workout for those needing some strength and recovery.

One drove down 64 to the POGL to workout at the Foundry with the Peak City broz for a Bumper Sticker Q.

Picnic bench Dora, partner indigenous people run, rock work, cocaine bear crawls, lunge walks and some mary was served up. Good to be checking boxes in the Peak!

4 tackled the Spartan Super in Charlotte. Weather was warm but beautiful and the mud was thick. Great fellowship along the way with our other F3 brothers. Feel blessed to be able todo these types of things along side you men! AROO! MIAGD!

Visited an old fav this week. Met some new guys, too. A few observations on Claymore and what goes on there….

1. Manny the dog now has a live in girlfriend.
2. Large empty tennis courts make great settings for limited run workouts.
3. COT should be thought about as more than just standard F3 routine – its a place where man can share stuff, oft not easily shared in the home setting, or elsewhere AND have an expectation that it would stay in COT and not worry itself through a verbal grapevine. Nice and simple environment to share what’s on one’s heart to a group of guys, circled up, trusting each other. COT. That was my experience at Claymore this week, in addition to Press’s endless 4 corner exercises, called out by each PAX…DEI was in full swing.

Headed to Alderaan for a nice morning jog with the Green Level crew. For the record, this AO is in Chatham County. They were gracious hosts. Logged ~6 on the tobacco trail and might have even set foot in Durham County.
