16 descended upon the lovely Giles residence in the hills of Regency for a poker night to remember. Vegan and non-Vegan snacks were provided. Beverages of various types were brought in by select Pax.

The game – two tables of 8 pax each. One of them was Tamara’s prized dining room table which was treated with appropriate care. Pax were randomly assigned to a table and a seat. One table seemed to have the more serious poker players, plus a wild card who kept busting them up and putting them on tilt.

Blinds increased very rapidly and steeply to keep things moving, which was both scorned and appreciated.

As the night wore on, the cream rose to the top with most of the names you expected to be there making the final table (except for Kiffin, who went out early despite a re-buy). High drama with many all-in moments. Down to the final 4 of Term, Astro, Augmented and Hermes. Out goes TP at the hands of the host and then down went that same HIM at one of the remaining two players. Not a single heads up hand was played as Astro quickly motioned to call it done and split up the winnings. Augmented with 2x the chips threw his weight around and suggested a $380 vs $100 split, which was rejected. After upping the offer to $360 and $120 the deal was sealed and two Pax went home monetary winners. But really…all who attended won.

Could highlights…
-term coming over to table two with exasperated updates on bad beats at his table

12 for 3.25 at Koka Booth. Thing 1 was three 800-meter segments around Symphony Lake, each completed in under 4 minutes. (Way under 4:00 for certain plastic surgeons.) Thing 2 was 7s on the hill.

Everyone was happy to see Laloosh. He dispatched today’s challenge with ease.

7 PAX hit the hills of Regency – given a PAX choice, we covered the run up to Penny and back. 19 light poles – incrementing by 1 at each pole 1 to 10 and back down to 1, turn around and do it again with Squats.

Stretches occurred at the end.

Then PAX choice to cover the hills one more time while others did Guard rail dips and merkins. 3 to 3.25 covered depending on your choices.

Back to flag with a minute to spare and a quick jump start for Laloosh.

4 HIMs early and on time to get after it this AM.

As YHC reflected on this morning’s Q, a few Back in Black album deets were discovered. ACDC is an Australian band that released its first album in 1975 (8 years before YHC was birthed). BiB was realeased in 1980, so this morning the PAX completed 1980 merkins.

We moseyed to Garmin, stopping halfway to warm-up. Once at Garmin, most of us completed a set of 21s on the hill. Some of the PAX admittingly was conserving energy on for the mosey back to the flag!
Halfway back to the flag discussion of bodily changes between the ages of 40-50 came up. This inspired YHC to complete a set of Homer to Marge to get the PAX stretch/prepared for activities later this evening…

7 gathered bright and early in the Koka Booth lot. Nice warm weather out this morning. What better way to start a warm morning but with some good old sweat. We took to the streets of Regency and hit Ederlee up to the parking lot for a quick warmup. The hill challenge is coming up soon, so we decided to hit Avenue of the Estates for some sevens up and down and then we went back to the Ederlee hill and traversed that back and forth as well. Almost four miles covered when all said and done.

10 arrived at the OG 0515 AO, including a visitor from the south Voltron. A quick disclaimer and then a pledge and we mosey off to the train station. A quick stop for a warmup at the greenway entrance GM, Imperial Walkers, Sir Fazios, Overhead Claps, let’s mosey up the hill.

Mosey down the stairs to the greenway watching for black ice along the way. Travel around the lake and over the bridge to the stage. Well that was the plan, but the lantern festival fence forced an audible and @staubach wanted his moneys worth. Hey @francois can you help speed up the lantern tear down efforts?

BACK was planned so we found some hand rails and did some Australian pull ups and some Koala hangs. Mosey back to the flag for some pax called Mary round robin. HAND!

PAX set out on a journey to find some of the few remaining light displays in the area. A string a pearls were enjoyed along the journey. Several homes are holding strong to their light displays (and are pretty liberal with their power usage leaving them illuminated all night). YHC decided that the upper body needed some attention so the rock pile was visited and a variety of reps were completed. Finished up with a little bit of Mary at the end. We were also delighted to welcome FNG Enhancements this morning. After being EH’d by a dozen fellow Lochmere residents repeatedly over the last five years, Adam Purzycki finally caved and joined us. Hopefully we will seem him out much more in the future.

The Q had a high tempo workout in mind, but was quickly disappointed by the pax ability to keep up. After multiple modifications, we ended up back at the flag for some sprints.
