Mosey to get warm before warmups by HT. Then a mosey over to Chipotle for the one and only thang.

A new F3 deck of cards was debuted amidst much excitement and fanfare. Pax drew a card in a rotating fashion and led/counted that exercise for the group. High point of the workout was the American Hammers counted by Dumas.

There was a pre-announcement for the Highland Games sometime in the March/April time frame. DDD before that on 2/22.

5 HIM joined YHC for a post 50th birthday bash.

The fun started with an Indian run to the warmup area where YHC gave props for proper execution of Michael Phelps by SCary pax.

We successfully navigated our way to the Publix parking lot for a 4-corners extravaganza consisting of Star jumps, Navy Seal Burpees, Bobby Dall Toe-Touchers and jump squats rounding it out. Half the running was backwards because why not. Four glorious and memorable laps were made and we all got stronger.

We snake ran our way across the way where 7’s ensued with hand release merkins and big boy sit-ups. Another snake run brought us back to the flag where fast feet up/downs, a few core exercises and 50 celebratory LBC’s closed out the fun.

Prayers for our NC neighbors out west impacted by Helene and a South Wake Pax, Best In Show who’s recovering from brain surgery.

10 souls came out for what was supposed to be an Iron PAX Challenge recovery day but instead received a 5 inning beatdown on the F3 baseball diamond. F3 baseball is nothing like real baseball, except there are bases and there might also be some whining.

Ended with newly coined sir fazio wrist circles to ease of pain from crab walking. I believe the passerbys were very impressed with this.

Great work by the men and great to see DEET out there with us!

YHC Ghost Flag Tour! Well kinda, because shortly after gathering at the Thunderstruck Flag, it was asked, “Where is the Ghost Flag”…Dammit! It’s in the car. I can show you later!
No FNGs, Pledge and we’re off.
YHC didn’t travel far from the site that he has never been to, so we lapped the parking lot and warmed up off in the corner. Standard GMs (while the PAX said a quick origin story of their F3 name! And that’s how I learned @Snip will not have any more kids.) Calf Stretch, Runners Stretch and SSHs.
Off to Thang 1: The Beast…6 exercises, 6 stops, 6 times! Jump squats, Spider Merkins, Low Slow Flutters, Burpees, Monkey Humpers, and LBCs.
Off to Thang 2: Cinderblock Loop. While grabbing the blocks from my car…LOOK there’s the Ghost Flag! Groups of 3-4 One PAX call exercise and takes off with the block around the loop, while the PAX AMRAP said exercise. Rotate and repeat for 2 trips with the block each!
Back to the Flag for MARY! PAX choice.

I was not exactly sure what my plan would be but I decided to see how many showed and wing it from there. Mosey began with chatter about pace and headlamps. A standard warmup at a bank. Over to the top lot for 4 corners. Merkins/Squats/lbc/Burpee

Recover and mosey to the bottom medical lot/hills. 7’s on the first hill diamond merkins/heels to heaven. Backwards run/sprints on the other hill. Sprints in the connecting lot. Mosey back to the flag for some CORE as requested by Bubba. Popcorn style until 0614 HAND! Greenbow showed up for COT and coffee.

I had to remind myself this morning that we may not always feel up to leading at an AO, at work or even at home. However, F3 has made leading and facing challenges a much easier and repeatable task. I could have stayed in bed or bowed out last minute but I signed up to lead and 14 men showed up to join me. MIAGD!

Bolstered by the south wake contingent we had more than I expected. Warm up mozey and stretching to the hill for a whole body triple nickel of squats, merkins, and WWIIs. Back to the teeter for some upper body pull-ups, irkins, dirkins, and dips with running the pickle backwards, sideways, and forwards in between. Back to the flag for quick round of WWIIs. Prayers for wah wah’s son, baby deet’s upcoming arrival and Bubba. Great morning out there!
