Had to dust off my Q shoes after taking a few months for the start of Culture Week. After a nice 1 mile warm-up EC with @Hallmark, I was worried that no one else was going to show, but luckily 13 PAX in total enjoyed the first day of AO’s after the clock change and on the eve of Election Day, we did an Electoral College workout. Below is the complete break down of the workout. It was a tight race with Augmented/Amway and Hallmark/Bing tying and having to go to a run off. Hallmark and Bing pulled a stunning upset by beating the A&A duo. Don’t forget to vote tomorrow!

Each exercise represented a state or states and the # of electoral college votes. Pick a running mate and complete each exercise while running a pickle after completing each one. At the halfway point of the pickle, do 3 or 4 burpees each). Whoever finishes first wins the election. Mentioned Dora Challenge as well.

12 gathered for YHC’s VKBQ on a great morning across the border in West South Cary.

A few bumps in the road but overall a successful Q. The thang was three exercises, then a pickle, do those again plus crowd source an exercise from three pax, pickle, those 6 exercises plus three more pax sourced exercises, then pickle, etc.

The playlist theme was “songs that I like and chose to add to the playlist”. A mix of grunge, rap and show tunes. There were no political endorsements nor condoning of sex trafficking / racketeering intended with the songs selected.

We all got schooled this morning during a crowd-sourced Q school, and even got in a workout along the way. 4 never-Q’d-before PAX were joined by 9 others as we discussed counting techniques, inflection, acronyms, and the history of F3.

Part 1 of an upcoming WB Workout series sponsored by HGTV. 12 rounds of work, ea round has 1 exercise separated by a pickle run exploring the fountains of Waverley Place. Each round does next exercise PLUS previous. Like 12 Days of Christmas. Some PAX were confused asking “what’s Jingle Balls?” or “What is a “12 pump NS burpee?” I mean, really? COT brought out many prayers and praises. Praise for Puff as our new fearless laptop carrying leader. Add’l good spirits flowed for tailgate coffee. Tour du Lightmere is fast approaching. 7pm, 12/23, AO: Loch n Load. Rumors are spreading fast that this heated 2.0 friendly event, hosted by Fruitloop, you’re Q, will put you more in the Christmas spirit than you thought you could ever be. Quite the sh-bang and looking fwd to it.

The PAX learned how to count to 10. They did a 10 – cone workout with increasing reps by 1 at each cone. 55 reps of each exercise. Back and forth they went. Some PAX openly grumbled, many gave the stink eye. The week was started out right – posting, sharing, praying for mom’s, daughters, our brothers in F3 and also for those brothers NOT yet familiar with F3. REACH OUT, fellas. Challenge your self, your courage, your tenacity to find a guy, tell him about F3. MAKE it personal, give your testimony. It’s more powerful than you think.
