Exercises happened, we got about 2.5 miles and arrived back at the “flag” on time.

6 bootcampers and 1 rucker showed up on time for SCary’s premier Thursday 0530 AO. 1 bootcamper, subbing as site-Q, scrambled for a ruck to be a HIM to our lonely South Wake ruck brotha. All for not tho as the second HC rucker appeared “only a minute late”. The HIM (Kitty Litter) now had to search for the bootcampers among the many route options this premier AOs has to offer. Fortunately, on his way to 300 posts this year, Kitty has a lot of practice searching PAX after the workout has gotten started. His success rate increased today!

With a plan in place, the bootcamping PAX headed straight through the hood to our brotha Sherpa’s home. Hello Dollys were performed flawlessly, possibly the best Hello Dollys ever performed in a driveway. To our chagrin, this was not caught on doorbell cam, bc this high tech brother has a low tech doorbell.

The route back to our starting point was a little more haphazard than our departure. A palm tree was found, hills were climbed, CDDs and jump squats were performed. The PAX rounded out the morning with a couple of 80% sprints to stretch the legs a little and push ourselves. Mary was present.

4 ruckers set out at 0530 for a little tour part way around lake lomond. We did hill repeats on the greenway leading up to Summer Winds. At the top we did Ruck Your Bodies and at the bottom we did standard merkins. After 5 or so rounds, we headed back to the flag. We covered 2.5 miles, did some exercises and enjoyed great fellowship. Grateful for the opportunity to lead. MIAGD!!!!

Yet another great day to be outside in the gloom, the rain, happy to be together, counting our blessings and deciding how to share in this glory we are given. After welcoming an American coot, sorry, I meant F3 Mud Duck from the Hickory area, the PAX grabbed a single traveling rock, wondering what was in store. We painted lines for a long time, turning in different directions as we did so. Stopping periodically to do warmups. Did a Circle Burp where a PAX called the down. Then we move on for a full set of 7 of Diamonds (jump lunges, 1/2 squats, Frog ups and hop squats), then a long version of catch me with hand release merkins all the way back to COT. Another double down tomorrow starting 0545 SWW then over to SW at 645. Christmas party coming 12/19, Toy Drive happening NOW (see 3rd F and COT channel for those details). Unveiled new region flag. The ceiling broke perfectly timed and our 2ndF Q was ready for us. Full breakfast that could not be beat. Thanks fellas. Appreciate you.

10 for a single loop around Summerwinds (pre-selected prior to Chops’ posting yesterday). Red rover played twice with the JDI crew. YHC may not be invited back to Q after nearly taking out a site-Q. Will take my safety training over the holiday break.

Something announced about a Maynard and Amway’s attempt to get anywhere near third place in the SCaryest Man Challenge.

On this day we focused on the 2nd F as we rucked around South Cary.
We made our way over to Lochmere Pavilion to do some exercises that cemented our bond:
Gargoyles
Lunges
Upper deckers
Erkins

Then we stuck together as we circumnavigated Loch Lomond and through the apartment to get to Whole Foods where we had just enough time to look very odd while attempting to write a message in Strava.

Made it back to COT right on time.

Bowling night on Friday.

Discussed the glue of the group and the growth.

Lifted up prayers for Best in Show, Sbarro’s stepmother’s mother and Kitty Litter’s MIL.
