Light attendance today but YeeHaw and I had good conversation and coffee. Brought up Psalms 118: 8-9 about putting trust in God above people and Institutions. Entertained some hypothetical and philosophical discussion about secrets vs. lies and navigating the truth of things with references to everything from Nehemiah, to JFK to the Matrix.

We had a visitor from ENC and a couple of PC bros join the LnL fun this morning. Quick disclaimer, no flag, mosey out. Wait the flag arrived and so did Jigglypuff, the pledge. Over to the lake for a warmup but no swimming.

Pearls on a string aka dopes on a rope was the plan. The pax were confused as we passed the casa’s de IC and Wings, but YHC had better plans.

Good weather for an early morning workout. Not as chilly as it has been.

Theme for today was blocks of 40 reps for this HIMs 40 b-day Q. Did a series of kettle bell exercises with a lap around the building to break up each set of two.

Ended with a little over 10 minutes of popcorn mary. Top notch coffee after courtesy of @Adjacent. MIAGD gentlemen!

Amway and Clockwork co-led a group of 8 men and women at the Fitness Kickoff 2025 inaugural workout for the Resurrection Lutheran Church/School community. Was great to have some people to show up despite the cold. Good workout, mostly low tempo (due to wide age/ability range). Roadhouse jumped in to help during Mary. Coffee and fellowship enjoyed.

This is part of a template we are building to help other PAX lead health/fitness-related initiatives within their own churches. More to come.

Great turnout for a pre-Christmas discussion on Advent and waiting in eager anticipation for the coming of Christ. Dove into the history of Advent and what it means for us including what we are waiting for in life. Talked about the second coming of Christ and what we know or think we know about that. Great engagement and participation from the PAX.

Our hearts are open and yearning, and our hope is fully in Him!

They we moseyed to the clubhouse for:

Then we moseyed to the trail for a modified Dora:
– Top of hill always 15 merkin
– Bottom of hill- ww2 – Squats – LBC’s – monkey humpers – Freddy mercuries

Then we Moseyed back to the flag, and did:
13 Cocaine bear crawls

Then we finished with a set of 100’s.
