7 Bootcampers set off at 0530 and 6 Run Bros sometime earlier. Bootcampers stayed local this morning. A short mosey to the upper parking lot for warm ups after the Pledge. Pretty vanilla warm up set and then off to the main event. There was only one Thang this morning and it consisted of a lot of Block work and a little bit of running. Deets of the workout are in the thread below. The work out was accompanied by some music which consisted of Metallica, Megadeath, Rage, Eminem, CCR and the Animals. Music selection was approved by most (maybe with a few impartials). Mumble-chatter was present, but not an over abundance. We wrappped up the beatdown, threw the blocks back in the Silverado and moseyed back to the flag for COT where we met up with the Run Bros who did their thang.

Lots going on with CSAUPs, bowling, camping and who knows what else. YHC took us out prayers and then we enjoyed some coffee and fellowship.

It was a pleasure Qing at SWW this morning. While SW holds a dear place in my heart, my first post ever was at SWW so it too holds a dear place in my heart. SCary is fortunate to have so many “Premier” AOs.

One would expect and flawlessly-run Q from a guy who has now Q’d 60 times since the launch of South Cary. The hecklers were out in full force today but the Q was unshaken and of course rock solid.

After a quick warmup in a neighborhood where some guy clearly thought we looked suspicious, we ventured into what was described as “the edge of Holly Springs” where we proceeded to work our way back by inflating some BLIMPS at each light pole.

Then we got back to HT and partnered up for some running around the building and bear crawling and deflating those BLIMPS. For that, we ended right where we started which could not have been planned any better. You’re welcome.

Then we did a bear crawl and tuck jump thang. Then back to the flag for a round of “last man merkining”. A few guys started late but Bayonne still managed to use his old man strength to out-merkin everyone.

Lots of announcements (check Slack), including a meta-announcement from Term Paper to watch out for an upcoming announcement for DDD in the next 30 days. Always a great time fellas. MIAGD.

Crisp cool morning for an out and back North on Kildaire. Some EC’d for some hills. Coffee was hot and the egg everything was better than advertised! MIAGD!

Ten fine HIM showed up at Ritter for a beautiful crisp morning. Pledge and we were off. Half mile warmup to one of the nice crescent green buildings that now sits empty. After a quick warmup of a few exercises, we moseyed to back lot and up the stairs. Then we went up through the one story parking garage and ended up in a never seen before (at least in my F3 workout days) parking lot that is used to house automobiles from the local dealerships.

We partnered up and did a classic Dora. 100 merkins, 200 squats and 300 LBC’s with the pickle around the used automobile lot. Next we jogged back around the buildings and down crescent green to a great little spot that has been traversed many times at SWW. A set of 7’s on the hill with merkins at the bottom and squats at the top.

At that time, we looked at the clock and we had seven minutes to back to the flag. We got in two groups of five and made an Indian Run through a few parking lots and eventually down Kildaire back to Lochmere Dr. The last 500 yards was a sprint with the two teams dueling to get back first. It was fun!

Nice brisk 55° morning, 5 for Jiffy Lube EC, 19 for the ME. Tryon, greenway, Seabrook, Coorsdale, Kildaire, home. Prayers for Kiffin’s dad’s surgery and for safety for Denali’s parents in Florida. The Egg Everything bagel was delightful this morning. Always a great group at JDI, enjoyed it fellas!

Moseyed to past Whole Foods to the open area by the playground for some good mornings, daisy pickers, calf stretches, merkins, runners stretch and into pigeon.

Thang 1 – 7’s up and down stairs ran past some stores and offices. On one side were wall dips and the other were LBCs.

Thang 2 – Went back to the open area for 3 rounds of erkins, WW2s, and derkins. Started at 15 and worked down to 5.

Thang 3 – Mosey back to flag, but stopped for 2 rounds of quick feet and curb dips.

Thang 4 – At the flag, we did shoulder workouts. Round 1 was arms stretched out to the side and 10 count around the circle and reversed. Round 2 was arms out in front and 10 count around the circle and reversed.

19 joined for a run up Kildaire for a bit of hill work. Looped back on Loch Highlands, dodging cars and buses along the way. Pace was pushed (not by YHC).
