14 booters and 1 runner helped cap off the 2024 Ambassador Tour. We paid respect to each sub region and the number of AOs in each. X and Y squats were crowd favorites. 2 Hello Dolly’s in IC Lights driveway thrown in for good measure. Prayers for the family of The Commish. Always an honor to lead.

JDI EC joined JRI EC to a total of 3 EC’ers

Soon after the EC was complete, a shopping elf magically appeared bearing some goodies! Franklin took the ruck, YHC carried the sandbag until Cheap Trick got his hands on it and wouldn’t share.

The PAX headed south on Kildaire to Ritter for a set of 7’s. YHC would like to introduce the newest SCary exercise: RUCK YOUR BODY. The 7’s consisted of Pull ups and Ruck Your Bodies.

Returning via Crescent Green, the Q’s navigation skills were challenge, but the route was flawless!

COT: Shopping continues this week for families still struggling in western NC. Give unopened presents to HGTV or Kitty Litter.

13 bootcampers said the pledge while Kirkland called the scheduled Q for a sitrep at 0530. Thankfully, Hoppin John stepped up and flexed his former SiteQ prowess and took the reigns! HJ had his weinke dusted off and ready! A 14th bootcamper joined the beatdown around 0545 pleased to witness the Starfish principle in action. This group of SCary HIMs have been well trained (by Carpex and Peak City) to always be ready for the Q to no show!

WARMUP: SSHs, Hill Billies, GMs, The South Cary stretch among other stretches
THE THANG: In preparation for this Q, YHC thought of the favorites aspects and memorable A-Team beatdowns over the last 8 years.
We began with some suicides on the amazing, refinished basketball court.
After a quick wellness check on Cauliflower in the shelter, we selected rocks from the abysmal selection next to the bball court. Curls for gurls, rock rows, overhead extension, overhead press, and rock your body; with a overhead rock lunge in between each exercise.
Finally, the PAX performed a set of 7s on the hill heading back to the flag. Merkins at the top and squats at the bottom, but with Partner Carry up the hill each trip. YHC thinks he overheard that partner carries was the highlight of today’s workout!

Walnut Street Park has to be the busiest park in Greater Carpex pre-0630. It was a privilege to lead such a distinguished group of diplomats this morning.
WARMUP:
Mosey up to the street adjacent courtyard for a few of this and a few of that. Franklin was very complimentary of the back to back Imperial Walker/Hillbilly combination. Mosey on.
THANG 1:
The Waffle House line was very busted but we decided to go check it out anyways. Random construction gates did their best to slow us down but we prevailed. Although it turns out doing exercises in the Waffle House parking lot is a bit dangerous….

16 showed up this morning to enjoy humidity, classic rock and lifting heavy things. We did all 3.

YHC isn’t sure if everyone counted the same number of reps and instilled a penalty burpee for those that had it on their conscience, it was a questionable move.

Regardless we all worked hard and enjoyed the mumblechatter of the ambassadors.

Respect Week rolls on. No cadence count and nobody got hit by the car in the crosswalk. We grinded up the hill two light polls up, one back. At the top, a variety of moderately successful group of exercises moderated by Statler and Waldorf. Sorry, I meant Franklin and Term Paper. Work our way back down the hill finishing up with Mary. I’m bringing her back. Welcome FNG “Safe Word”. He’s a beast and he likes burpees.

WARMUP: Quick jog and stretching, including the South Cary Stretch in McGregor Parking lot. Moseyed to Thang1. THE THANG: Thang 1 quickly devolved into complaints about bear crawls. Thang 2.5 involved carrying Racing Junk up a long hill while complaining. Thang3 involved Blimps + Blim and Fireman Carry on teh ramps with moderate complaints. Thang 4, nothing but complaints about the Qs use of a wet winky and poor attempt to explain the Carpex Core Challenge. Thank 5, widely varying efforts on hill repeats and complaints. Several ruckers were rucking along the way. Big thanks to @Astro and @Oofda for coffeeteria and @Doula for bringing a lot of MOAB first-timers and veterans out. Overall, amazing display of toughness and cross-region support with 45 pax! Announcements: Highland Games, Marathon Support Needed, and Peak City run coming up.
