Solid out and back, with a few hill repeats, through the lovely hills of Macgregor. PAX were challenged to take the crown on a tough 0.2 mile uphill Strava segment that required a 4:17 min/mile pace for which the record had stood since 2020.

It was really ugly out there. YHC picked up the 6 and jogged with a very slow, seemingly out of shape Joe Smith back to NYB. YHC was wondering “did Back in Black make ole’ Joe soft? I need to encourage that guy.”

Lo and behold, Stravas we synced at COT and would you believe Joe snatched that crown!!! What a stud! Round of free coffees was purchased for all in celebration.

4 for a non-:turtle: EC down to Kildare and back. An additional 30 gathered for a New Year’s Day Region-Anniversary Site-Launch extravaganza! We had an FNG, so we stumbled through the mission and core principles on the way to a FOLLOW ME around the small pickle to the dock for warmups. The PAX counted off by 1s and 2s and we headed for the rock pile.

Kitty Litter kept the 1s for rock work and Jigglypuff took the 2s for 7s on the hill. We flipflop’d after 10 minutes and repeato’d. Reconvene to put the rocks back and mosey to the flags.

At the flags, Mary consisting of the exercises created by the PAX last year – the M2H, Stingray Merkins, Stifler’s Mom, and CFH2M. Serious thanks to OTW for breaking up the motif – maybe we can explore a different part of the body this year.

COT where we named FNG Bruce ‘DeVito’ since he is the self-proclaimed shortest of his brothers. Hope to see him out again soon!

Prayers lifted up for Jerry’s family and for the new babies in our region (Brie spoken, Renfield unspoken). Huge praises for 2025 and our region – what a privilege to be a part of this and push to make each other better every day.

13 bootcampers said the pledge while Kirkland called the scheduled Q for a sitrep at 0530. Thankfully, Hoppin John stepped up and flexed his former SiteQ prowess and took the reigns! HJ had his weinke dusted off and ready! A 14th bootcamper joined the beatdown around 0545 pleased to witness the Starfish principle in action. This group of SCary HIMs have been well trained (by Carpex and Peak City) to always be ready for the Q to no show!

Great event hosted Badda at the official bowling alley of F3 South Cary! Pizza was plentiful as were the kids. Some pax knocked down many pins and others not so much. I believe Kiffin had the best score with a 193…and that was before he learned about the oil patterns.

Great tour of Badda’s backend by two groups and then a private tour for the Pineapple Express Captain. Very cool to see the magic behind the scenes!

After trekking many miles and slaying a few beasts along the way, i found ye olde slippery when wet AO just as i remember.

I think i have been here once before, but never Q’d. I asked @francois about the lay of the land and with his guidance, we grabbed some of the small rocks and headed up to kildaire farm rd and the little shopping center across the street.

Did a bunch of randome exercises, some backwards runs, and chatted about pubes, underlings, and how leaders should always strive to punch down and make others feel small.

The First Annual Tour de PAXmere in the “North Central” side of Lochmere, within manageable distance of the flag! We dedicated a CORE exercise to each PAX and a Hello Dolly round. 3 miles were covered and fun was had.
