Great start to the morning. Said the pledge and then headed out to the Chiesi parking lot/deck, stopping for warm ups on the way. We did a little island hopping with squats at each island. Forward run down and backwards run back up to the top of the lot. After getting the legs warmed up we headed to the parking deck for several rounds of 4 corners with various exercises in each corner. We did some other random stuff and then headed back to the flag. On the way back we stopped at each light for a squat hold or pulsing squats. Made back to the flag with a minute to spare so we finished up with a short round of stretching.

Announcements announced and prayers lifted up.

Most made it to NYBD for coffee after.

Temperature drop caused a bunch of noisy fellas to mosey for warmup then to a p-lot for some BLIMPs. Hermes was there so you know what that means…Anyway, I think we finished and back to the flag for some side crunches, crab cakes, and star fish crunches.

It was Pizza Day at Point Break and luckily, the PAX brought their appetite and more importantly their wallet. Started by taking the long way around from PB to 88 and into the turf area for a warm up consisting of sets of SSH’s with some stretches in between. Mumblechatter over my use of the winkie fell of deaf ears. We then moseyed to the upper parking lot to enjoy some pizza. Thang 1 consisted of HGTV’s wheel of pain to pick workout and cut the pizza. Each slice cost $8 so we did sets of 8, but you got $2 back if you did 2 on return to the wheel of pain. We worked our way around the pizza until we ate it all. We then moseyed back to the turf area and did a Tabata style workout where we did 20 seconds on, 10 seconds off of Squats, Burpees, mountain climbers, and speed skips. Repeated 4 times. Moseyed to the flag after doing one final look around the parking lot.

Announcements included MOAB tomorrow, summer swoltace on June 20, WebMD/Sherpa’s mini triathlon on June 19, and R2R Grand Canyon on Sept 21. Prayers for Bubba’s Dad (Jim), Gravel Mouth’s mission trip, and Doula’s move. Let’s remember D-Day Anniversary tomorrow. MIAGD!

10 arrived at the OG 0515 AO, including a visitor from the south Voltron. A quick disclaimer and then a pledge and we mosey off to the train station. A quick stop for a warmup at the greenway entrance GM, Imperial Walkers, Sir Fazios, Overhead Claps, let’s mosey up the hill.

Mosey down the stairs to the greenway watching for black ice along the way. Travel around the lake and over the bridge to the stage. Well that was the plan, but the lantern festival fence forced an audible and @staubach wanted his moneys worth. Hey @francois can you help speed up the lantern tear down efforts?

BACK was planned so we found some hand rails and did some Australian pull ups and some Koala hangs. Mosey back to the flag for some pax called Mary round robin. HAND!

16 PAX came out, despite legitimate fears of long-ish 4 corners (the Waverly Place loop is 1 mile by the way). Those fears were unfounded.

After the pledge, we moseyed down to the lower parking lot for warmups and South Cary Stretching. Signature WebMD 25 side straddle hops (more than any other Q warmup), then merkins, stretches, more merkins, and Sir Fazio.

Thang 1: We did 11’s, with burpees and jump squats. The distance was 0.1 mile one way, so we totaled 2 miles there. I’m unsure the record for “longest F3 11’s” but I’m hoping this is top 10.

Thang 2: Modified Dora. Loop up and down the stairs. With partners, we did 65 merkins, 100 LBC (maybe in cadence), and 150ish Bonnie Blairs.

Happy to announce an on-time arrival at the flag for COT.

We pushed the pace of the ME through a few hills around sites of Hootenanny’s and between lakes. Hootenanny came up enough in mumblechatter that we decided to visit the vicinity twice.

Large EC crowd this am but still a larger coffeeteria contingent. No 4️⃣ mile takers this morning even though ample bailout opportunity was given. Odyssey coming up. Thanks for the opportunity to lead. MIAGD!

21 Boot-campers and 4 runners tackled this morning like there was no tomorrow. Runners ran and Boot-campers started with the pledge and headed to Whole Food’s parking lot for warmups. We then headed to the upper lot for a whole lot of 4 corners. We completed 6 rounds, each round consisting of a different exercise. In between corners we always faced the “Toast” side of the lot (forward run, side shuffle, backward run, side shuffle). After completing the 6 rounds we all attempted to line up on a sidewalk for some bear crawls. Turns out it’s not on my M who has trouble understanding things I try to explain. We eventually got things situated and did some bear crawls and lunges before finishing off with some burpees.

Announcements were announced, prayers/praises were lifted up and coffee was enjoyed by many.

Great work men and thanks for following me around for 45 minutes.

Yogi Q’d. Limited run, maximum push workout. 600 total reps – 5 sets, 100 reps across 7 exercises with loop around Shake Shack between sets. Irkins, Dips, Squats, WW2s, Carolina Dry Docks, Burpee’s.

There was a lot of yelling. Ayes and Amens were expressed. A sermon on gratitude was given. Someone may have done their burpees in or maybe they just have belly hair that rivals Tom Selleck’s. We had a pre-COT before the actual COT. It was a Freed to Lead experience.
