Thank you to everyone for the birthday wishes. It was choose your own adventure day at point break with Hermes leading summer school classes, some guys running all through Cary, and the main event. Started with Mary and then some thigh busting modified squat jumps in the middle of a pain train. After a heroic 0.1 mile trail jog through the inky shadows of the snake-infested forest, we enjoyed a nice run around the lake (to the enjoyment of the ducklings). After that it was back to work, playing a team version of catch me if you can up the hill, did some arm exercises, before returning to the flag with each person leading us to their favorite exercise. There was a quick praise for our newest q school graduates and we left with a reflection of the power of encouraging those with anger, hatred, intolerance, and revenge to stop and reflect on their own journey and what really matters.
