We welcomed 2 “friendly new guys” who were not FNG’s—Burt and Wonderbread. We started with a jogging tour around the facilities and then a quick warmup.
Thang 1 was a pickle around the Blair Witch houses which included 100 each of squats, merkins, and Carolina dry docks.
For thang 2 we paid a visit to the sheep where partners ran the loop and got up close and personal with the sheep with 150 irkins and dirkins.
Thang 3 was another pickle with 3 stations of pyramid-style reps (increasing then decreasing):
3 sets of 10 WWII’s
3 sets of 15 alternating side LBC’s
3 sets of 20 monkey humpers
3 sets of 15 reverse LBC’s
3 sets of 10 burpees
If you are wondering what it was like having Burt around, it was everything you’d expect it to be and more.
Got back to COT right at 0615 after which time the QIC and site Q’s were presented with cans of Natural Fright from Burt in honor of his visit to SCary. Those beers may or may not be leftover from Halloween 2021 or even 2020 but they will still be delicious. Much discussion was made about how Texas Ranger’s coffee at Jack It Up may be the very best among all our neighboring regions. Come on out next Monday and experience it for yourself.
