It was an honor to lead you men this morning. The dome held out and the only thing falling was reps and sweat!

As you take this day off, for most, reflect on how lucky we are to have the opportunity to get up and do the Murph. We can get up early and run freely around SCary, enjoy fellowship with friends, and even pray or speak freely at the end of it all.

John 15:13. “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” This verse embodies the spirit of Memorial Day. Many gave all to keep these freedoms for us. Let’s not forget that!

Today we “dialed up” a beatdown that managed to silence the mumblechatter after a little while.

Started with warmups in the field by the haunted houses which included squat jumps, quad stretch, tuck jumps, glute stretch, high knees, overhead claps, sir fazio’s, runners stretch, and daisy pickers.

The main Thang was a pain train around the big loop which resembled the dial on the rotary phone. Some PAX may or may not have known what a rotary phone is. There were 5 stations: Burpees (5), WW2’s (10), merkins (15), squats (20), Carolina dry docks (25). Each time going all the way back around the loop to the beginning.

Then we did a crawl bear up the hill followed by some dips, derkins, and irkins.

Ended with 54 American Hammers (L/R) for Chipper. Welcome FNG Forrest.
