A strong showing, mult-region workout for this year’s 1776 convergence. Different format this year with the 6 and brotherhood in mind, which made the little longer format so enjoyable for all you guys. I know I enjoyed it, especially the mosey to the burpee field I thought I was gonna splash.

-the man Yogi trying to start a “later than typical” workout in SCary, something like 8am – any interested should get up with him.
-Lifting up the man @Pickup for his 1st Year F3 anni, and for all others just staring KEEP COMING OUT.

We send prayers for our friends and coworkers, those we know injured, and struggling, and traveling, those trying to do good things for others….let’s ALL REMEMBER our blessings, put our support forward to these people and others in need, to do this in whatever way you can, small or large it does not matter as long as you remember the concept of Living 3rd.

Great temps this morning for Scary’s premier Thursday limited run workout. YHC likes to run (to fill time) so this Q was a test outside my comfort zone.
A great group of all star HIMs were in attendance. We began with a light mosey around the park followed by a traditional warmup.

The main event was coupon centric. Everyone grabbed some dead weight and we headed to the baseball field. 7 of diamonds were attempted including Brickees, Rows, Squats, and a round robin of curls, tri extentions, chest press, and trunk rotations. I now realize the increasing reps were ambitious but the PAX obliged.

Next headed to the basketball court for a game of Knockout. Make your shot, you continue, miss and you do Merkins. This looked better on paper but was mildly entertaining.

Finished with some dips, durkins (derkins?), and urkins (erkins?) and a quick Hammers Mary. Mumblechatter was great and coffeteria a weekly highlight as always.

Suicide prevention opportunity announced by Kitty. Great idea for sure. Prayers to Henry, Kitty’s M on the anniversary of the passing of his M in law and all those in need.

We blew/raked some leaves at 6 properties to serve The Carying Place. We then met at Woody’s to solve some of the world’s problems. Some had a beer at Woody’s, other’s had tea/water or French Fries. I think we had 3 2.0’s in attendance.

When in the course of human events, we get 76 + 1 PAX to descend upon Ritter Park, we do so to honor the birth of our great nation and celebrate our freedom.

Many brave souls ventured out to conquer one of the 3 EC options available. A near-problematic number embarked on the treacherous Freedom EC to capture a shovel flag being held by the British Crown, deep in the Scottish Highlands of Lochmere.

The main event started with a 1776-yard mosey (approx 1 mile) and then we proceeded to work through a list of 1776 reps between 17 different exercises….100 reps each, then we bear crawled 100 yards back to the flags and did 76 burpees together going around the circle where each PAX had a chance to call “down” for 1 burpee.

We covered 1.76 miles in total, according to Hello Kitty’s official Strava record. This backblast may also have taken 1776 seconds to write. 4 FNG’s named. Callahan took us out in prayer. Pinto snapped a great group pic. The afterparty included several pots of coffee, water, beer, hard seltzers, danishes, American flag cookie, and great fellowship. Thank you to everyone who joined us to participate and everyone who contributed to make this event a success!
